Right Eye / Cheek
Gallery: Face SCC (Right Eye/Cheek)

Summary
This is the dataset used in the AAMD 2024 Plan Study and publicly available via the ProKnow Quality Systems website.
This patient has a recurrent squamous cell carcinoma of the right face anterior to the maxilla having received MOHS twice with cranial nerve V2 involvement to Meckel’s Cave.
Gallery
- Two variations of variable-thickness boluses, here shown with user-defined goal buildup depths of 15 mm and 10 mm (min buildup to underlying PTV)
- Four-panel view in the p.d software showing an OptiBol with 15 mm goal buildup
- OptiBol variations without (left) and with (right) optional alignment guides
- Depth-volume histograms for the voxels in the underlying PTV shown with no bolus vs. OptiBol 15 mm
Details on Depth-Volume Histograms (Gallery Item 4)
Variable-Thickness OptiBol (Goal 15 mm to Target)
- 100% of the target voxels have min depth ≥ 10 mm (0% target < 10 mm)
- 97% of the target voxels have min depth ≥ 14.25 mm (where 14.25 mm is 95% of the goal buildup for this bolus design)
- 94% of the target voxels have min depth ≥ 15 mm
No Bolus
- Only 57% target voxels have min depth ≥ 10 mm (43% target < 10 mm)
- Only 41% of the target voxels have min depth ≥ 14.25 mm
- Only 39% of the target voxels have min depth ≥ 15 mm
